Yes, totally "Family Guy", but they're good! Also, if the cast is low budget, the fly-guy shouldn't fly without the help of wires attached on his back!

I worship thy otter dragon I would give the otter minotaur somewhat of a hunch though, right now the head even seems a tad off-center.

@Vinnie : Thanks :D
@Elk : Haha yeah the Family Guy thing has been noticed by a few people, I think it's the eyes, not many cartoons use eye-lids...ok most do but not as often...if that makes sense.
@CiroContinisio : Good point, I'm actually gonna pitch the idea that if a second game gets made set on this game world there be a play house in which the plot of the first game is badly acted out by these characters, then he'll have a rope holding him up :-D
@miascugh : They make you think of Otters? Personally I can't see it...as for the "minotaur" (not sure exactly what he's supposed to be but minotaur seems fitting thanks :D lol) I do agree, some editing is needed, I attempted to give him a hunched look there but it isn't really obvious enough.
Glad people like them! :D

That's because I meant beavers, obviously I definitely don't see a hunchback there yet. Employment of some more expressive poses might be a good idea overall, or at least for the yetibeaver. I realize that the blockiness is a style choice, but with their rectangular stiffness and them eyes they do look kinda sedated. Which is what you call people when they're toasted in german, stiff. To fulfill the educational mandate of these boards with this piece of knowledge right there.

Instead of scaling to white for light colors, scale to yellow! The end.

Haha thanks everyone I should really start doing more pixel art again >: you should teach me how to use colors sometime Dx
I guess the basic idea is to shade more with hue than with value/lightness, so darker greens might be more blue etc.

I... I want your tilesets so I can run off and get married to them in Vegas D: Um... but seriously. Your pixels are delicious and I want to make something with those tilesets. They tickle my imagination and inspire the mechanics of my brains.

My explosion attempt... Is it a boom or a super close up of a Meat Boy zit ? Whichever it is I thought it was worth a laugh, and look... intresting, if somewhat odd methinks.

Xion, I love those sprites, but they seem a bit over-rendered (if that's the word) in places. The human's face, just below the ear, stands out to me particularly, with what seems like blurry, pillowy anti-aliasing from too many near-identical colours. It's funny, because the same thing works really nicely on the orc's face, especially in the highlight on his head and brow. This edit makes things too sharp and cartoony, and the man's face is now all messed up, but I think it conveys what I want it to all the same.

Aw man, I'm getting a total Wonder Boy vibe from that last one! I think it's the vertically-held sword that did it (along with the general style of the sprite, of course).
In any case, it's a good thing.
