Insert Coin Studio’s celebrates 1 year in business and announces new title!Previously known as Digitalized Gamer Studios, we have re-launched on our 1 year anniversary under our original studio name of Insert Coin Studios. There were issues over the past year that kept us from using that title to its full extent but we are now ready for the future. It’s with our 1 year anniversary we not only announce our new identity, but our second studio project, Digi Adventure.
Digi Adventure follows the story of an unemployed college student who receives a popup on his computer one day. The popup offers the best job ever, and out of spontaneous curiosity Digi decides to give it a click. As soon as Digi clicks the popup the room shakes and bends, then vortex opens on his screen. Digi and his whole room are then sucked into the digital world. Digi lands on the floor of a dark, cold digitalized environment where he meets up with this own antivirus system. His antivirus tasks him with cleansing the massive uprising of viruses and security breaches while also finding his digitalized furniture. If he can find every piece of his room, his reality will be restored, and the digital world will be safe again.
Digi Adventure is a 2.5D platformer with fast gameplay, unique art direction, and great music mixed by our in house DJ, plus over 90 levels to enjoy. The game will be launching January 2012 for Browser / PC / MAC / and soon Mobile devices. We are working on adding 2-4 player multiplayer as well in which players can join online to solve large levels with many objectives, compete in online leaderboards, and unlock special electric glows, characters, and new furniture for the gallery.
We need help from the gaming world at large to help make Digi Adventure a high quality game with maximum platform reach; as such we are running a Kickstarter campaign with fantastic rewards. Along with every pledge you are helping a small indie studio reach its goals to inspire with great games, educate others by sharing our resources and experience in the industry, and create jobs in our area. We also will be rewarding pledges with copies of Digi Adventure when it releases, copies of our first title WorldBreaker TD, signed disc copies of both games, soundtracks and wallpapers, and for those feeling very generous we will be hand crafting 12” x 12” plushies shaped as the iconic Data Cubes from Digi Adventure with the inner blocks featuring the studio colors, as well as the opportunity for 20 people to design a custom level using the games rules that will be added to a special community chapter free to all to play in the browser version.
