Week EightA semi-sequel/port this week. Since everyone seemed to like Blockman Gets, and my DS ratio is getting dangerously low, I ported Blockman Gets to the DS. Blockman Gets DSIt's pretty much the same game as last week, except there's now a ghost in the maze, rather than the boulder. Does it make the game better, worse, harder, easier? I honestly don't know! But it's a trial thing, so if anyone's DS Brewable, you can give it a whirl and let me know if you'd like to see the ghost in the PC version. *shrugs* We'll just have to wait and see where it goes from here. Get Blockman Gets here.--- Oh yeah, and my archive now list 150+ downloadables and THREE HUNDRED games.. Blimey!

Week NineAnother week, another game, that's the way it goes! This week's game took so long to build that I didn't actually get to build any levels until yesterday, which kinda broke the greatness of it. But still, here it is, and to be fair it's a decent game. With a nice set of levels, I'm sure it'll be better. But.. I'll probably never get to do those. Level making instructions are in hereMunky's BlockMunky's thrown into a maze, and must find a way out using only a big red button a door and his Block. Along the way there are other fun things to play with, but not too many, because there's only 10 levels. Shame.. You can Download Munky's Block Here, and enjoy the 10 simple levels provided.

Week TenYou'd think that ten weeks in, I'd start to lose my imaginative gaming skills. And you'd be right.. Yip!A bog standard dull game involving a little dog catching frisbies. I'm not even going to bother talking this one up. Download Yip!Sometimes AGameAWeek really doesn't work out!

What, even Yip!? Thanks, I'll keep going! This week's will hopefully look a bit like this. Sure, it's a repeat, but it's hopefully a better game because of it.

Yeah, repeats are usually something I avoid, but.. I posted Blockman Gets, and knew it could be SO much bigger. Maybe it's cheating, I dunno, sometimes you just have to go with the flow, and since I've got bog all else of an idea, that's what's gonna happen

Week ElevenAn unexpected case of Swine Flu has created a change of plans. Luckily I'd pretty much rushed through and completed this game on Wednesday, so a rapid addition of audio this morning, while sniffling away, meant that I've just about managed to get a game done. phew!! GuesstimatesEvery day at Socoder.net, there's a little poll. Random questions about random things, and a batch of coders answering them. The answers are all kinds of crazy! Can you think like them? Rush around the board, and answer as many questions as you can. The winner is the one with the most points, once someone's reached the finish line. Multiplayer, up to 8 players, (not online, obviously!!) and has AI, too, incase you've no friends. You can Download Guesstimates here. Fun? *shrugs* Can't tell, I'm full of flu!

Week Twelve already. Aah, Blockman Gets, how much fun you were. So much fun, I decided to do it all over again. I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, but then got Swine Flu and had to put it on hold. Now, here it is, ready and waiting with extra juicy bits. Blockman Gets MoreSame rules as before. Eat, don't not eat, and there's all manner of little bonuses that you oughta be able to work out as you go along. You can download Blockman Gets More here. Lovely stuff!

Week ThirteenLast week's was fantastic, so the theory goes that this week's game will probably suck.. Hey, whadayaknow! Ninja, Duck!Fight off emerging swarms of ducks, frogs and flying birds, using only your trusty sword. Don't let them get you, or you'll inexplicably explode in a 90's arcade style!! You can Download Ninja, Duck! here. Online highscores included.

Week FourteenLast week I actually started 3 different games. Over the course of the week, the first 2 fell into horrible nasty territory and got left behind. Ninja, Duck didn't, and ended up as the game of the week. This week, I started well, and have worked on one single game all week. But yesterday the whole game seemed to fall apart. Uhoh!! A couple of quick fixes later, and it's thankfully managed to hold together pretty well. .. ish! Firework ChaosGuide the fireworks up towards the colour coordinated oncoming asteroids. Don't let them hit the ground!! You can Get "Firework Chaos" right here.

Week FifteenThe interest's gone, no replies for weeks. I think that's about as far as AGameAWeek's going over at Tigsource! Oh well, it's managed better than last year!! And yet, without any interest, I'll still battle on like some kind of insane coder. That's just the way it goes! This week was another crazy old week, where I battled against time to complete an entire game with editor and new music, all within a week. And for the DS! Wowie. Lots to do. It's a good job, then, that it was a rehash. Munky Blocks DSA nice remake that includes a few bits from Munky's Block, too, for good measure. The game will even load levels from the PC original game (Munky Blocks, not Munky's Block!), so if you've made any for that you can transfer them over and carry on playing. Good stuff! If you have DS Homebrew capabilities, you can Download Munky Blocks DS here.

Week SixteenA suggestion from Authentic Kaizen sparked a fantastic little gem of a game. I really needn't build this one up, it does a good enough job on it's own! NeonPlatPick up a ball, throw it at a bad guy, rinse, repeat.. You can Download it here. And do, because it's fun!

Week SeventeenCame up with an idea early on in the week, but it never really went anywhere. Others might enjoy this one, but to me it's nothing particularly special.. Traffic Cones!!!!Race around the traffic-cone-laced tracks, without hitting too many cones. Your score is based on time-taken to complete 3 laps, any extra distance travelled within the time limit, and has points taken off for each cone you've hit. Simple stuff.. You can Download Traffic Cones here.

Week EighteenBusy week. New PC, Network Chaos, RetroGamer Issue 71 page 101, and preparing for Xmas. What a week! And I had to reset my TigSource Forum password, too, 'cos I've been relying on my browser again! No time to rest, Another game!! Greenie's LCD AdventureSomething nice and simple this week. A neat little LCD game in the style of that old Zelda Watch that one of my mates once had. Couldn't remember too much about it, so it's just a maze with random collecting and death inside!! You can Download it here.

Week Nineteen It's Christmas time, and everything's incredibly snowy. Things outside are all wonderfully seasonal, and I can't get out to do "The Big Xmas Shop", so Xmas dinner's not looking too promising at the minute!!
*sigh*
With all the festive busyness, You'd probably not be too surprised if I said I hadn't actually made a game this week.
..
You'd be even more surprised if I said I'd made a whole bunch of them.
No release Tuesday, first release Friday.
Join Jay for the 12 Games of Christmas, starting Xmas day, over at AGameAWeek.com
