Derek will probably announce the exact moment the competition ends. Regardless, it tends to be a pretty fuzzy line.

Well, when I come back from school tomorrow, I hope to see some utterly astounding games here. Good day, gentlemen.

Everything. Also, hello! Thanks! So is a finished tag = "finished" finish? Are only these eglilible for voting? Or are playable, not 100% polished entries also in that mix? Ah, I'll just make a thread later and see what happens.

If you're talking about the version that's actually going in to the competition, then strictly speaking, nothing. That's the sense of a deadline. However, if you suddenly find the game crashes for a lot of people, you won't be disqualified for fixing that. What you shouldn't do are things like adding more levels, gameplay elements, improving graphics and similar. That's just my interpretation though. You should also read Melly's post above: What you do with the game past the compo is completely up to you. Even during voting there isn't much problem with bug fixes and balance tweaks, as long as you don't add new content to the game, which would be a little unfair to the other participants.
After the voting, though, it's completely up to you. You can also keep working on another version of the game separate from the one you submitted to the compo even during voting, but it won't be judged.

Excellent, thanks for digging that out. Everything's clear now Haha, not much time to read a thread when crunching for deadline, I bet you guys understand

If someone is collecting an archive of all the entries again I can host/mirror it on my server. Partly because I have some morbid curiosity to find out if the server can handle it Contact me by PM.

It usually is pretty loose. But I assume it's over Midnight PST. 3 AM EST.

This had better end at midnight PST and not in ten minutes because I'm still compiling the Linux version

Nice work everyone. Lots of interesting stuff on the completion thread. I myself don't know when exactly the competition should end, but you guys should probably hurry at this point.

I'm sad i never had time to finish anything for this. I think i would have had more motivation (and made more time) if the theme was cooperative, but i can't have everything my way! Haha.
Congrats to everyone who finished an entry, i'm looking forward to playing them!

Thirdededed. If we did have it, it should be in a few weeks when everyone has cooled off from this one. Makes sense to me to have a coop compo after a versus one!
