I'm pretty good at playing the guitar in various forms, been in several bands the last 20 years. Also play a bit of banjo. Only problem now.. I'm kinda addicted to buying guitars and the missus is starting to get annoyed with them taking up all the space and using it as a reason to get a bigger flat, and yeah, if we get that then i cant afford to get more guitars

I just started doing electronic music about 3 years ago but I've been a drummer for 21 years. Fuck, I'm old....anyways, here's a song from my last band "Another Black Day".

I play piano, mostly classical, but I can occasionally do other stuff. I'm really good at memorizing but not so great at sight-reading or improvising.
Also electric guitar, though I'm not the best.
Okay on drums.

I play bass in Sugarbeard's Band. I also enjoy playing some Guitar, Ukelele, Jaw Harp, and (rarely) Harmonica.
I would really like to learn how to use tracking software properly.

No, I can't play an instrument. But I can use music software to make sounds!

Trackers are fun, but I'll take real synthesizers and drum machines over one any day. Also, was this like your first outing to the Audio forum?! See it's nice in here!

Well, I play euphonium, Bass, Guitar (acoustic and electric), Tuba, Trombone, Keyboard a bit, and Sitar, at least the strings it's got left. I'm also self-taught on a few tracking programs. Wooh Music!

I've played guitar for about 18 years. I started dabbling in piano and then keyboard about 14 years ago. I got into the "being in a band" cycle in high school, which didn't stop until about five years ago. Now, I just play by myself and occasionally record stuff with Reason/Record (which has become difficult with a baby in the house).
A couple bands I've been in:

I used to play piano and the oboe. I can kind of now but I don't really have any motivation too.

Noob question: Is the ukulele too difficult for someone who has never played any instrument before? Or better yet, what's the most noob friendly instrument? I'd love to lear one, I really don't know why I haven't yet.

noob friendly? i would say some kind of instrument that uses a keyboard such as a piano or synth. at least it is easy to get a good sounding tone out of it compared to most other instruments that needs more technique. with that said, ukulele is pretty easy and awesome. so go for it

I guess I'll try it I fear finding ukulele lessons around here will be really difficult, but I'll try it anyway.
