Good morning everyone!

I've been busy re-recording one of my older soundtracks and I wanted to share some of it. I composed the score for a machinima called "Gift of Mercy" -  a very tragic story about how terrible evils are sometimes disguised as the greater good.

This is the opening sequence - some very dense string writing here with a lone piano on top.

I'd love to hear what you guys think. Personally, my favourite thing about it is the way that the cellos' sound turned out.

So I thought I would relaunch this thread as a Sound Diary of sorts. I want to share my new stuff with you wonderful tig-folks but I don't want to clutter the audio section with a new topic for each composition.

Thus... to start it off, here is a composition that I sat down with yesterday morning for the first time. I had nothing but an incredibly simple melody in mind and a few hours to spare. This is what came of it:
