I agree that the first sprite and the calm face both look better.

Okay. I was trying out a different look, but I can see it's not too popular. I'll switch the sprites back as soon as I get a chance.  Beer!

I hope you don't mind, Undertech - I took your sprite and added a bit more motion to the walk cycle. Here's the result:

I don't really like the movement of the legs yet - he almost looks a bit as if he was limping. Quote in comparision has a much more stomping step, which looks a bit firmer and also cuter:

Looks good. You'll want to shrinkify his left arm (your right) and growify his right eye, though, so the sprites are consistent.

Good to have you back.  Smiley

Thanks!
But I'm not sure what you mean by shrinking the arm and enlarging the eye. Are you talking in general? Because I just worked off the existing GK sprite without changing anything in the face or the hand.

The sprite in general has changed since that walking animation was made. His arm is smaller, and his eyes are the same size, so it doesn't look lopsided.

You are back. I waited. Tired We still have no word as to whether your Quote sprites are usable.

Why is he only flexing the fingers on one fist? It looks like something's wrong with the other.

I know, I'm sorry for the wait - I was quite busy in the last weeks - but I'm having a couple of free days now, so I hope I can get some stuff done!

Concerning the fingers it's quite easy to explain - I was plain lazy! Wink
But it has a good side to it, because I need to go over it again a bit anyway. Dummy as I am, I didn't read through the whole GK thread and missed the updated version, because I thought the sprite in the first post was the current one.

Anyway - be right back with some updates!

The sprite in the first post should have been the current one. I screwed up.  Tired

Ok, here we go - I fixed up the eyes, but the hand seems to be alright, at least when I backchecked with the current idle sprite and the latest posts with the updated GK verison.

Also, here's the Golden Knight jumping:

Hey Kovski, good to have you back on here. I'm very thankful for you to take initiative Grin
Your sprites look great too!'

Though perhaps his face should be a little smaller in his jumping animation?

Well, since everyone is all over Baldings Quest right now (and rightly so) I figured someone has to stick with the old construction site... err.. old new construction.. ah whatever, you get my drift.. Cool

Anyway, you're right Yama - the face is a bit too stretched.
I fooled around with it once more and here's what I got:

Better?

Yeah that's better. The first one had a bit of an Amigara Fault thing going on.
