I can assure you with some certainty that time does not stretch that far. Enjoy your colourful hat game when we all unfold into abstract geometric shapes and return to our pre-existence.
Huh, sounds like REZ. Sexy.

Fantastic. I can't wait to play Fez on my imaginary Xbox 360.
... But you'll still be making a PC release, right?

we signed a publishing agreement with microsoft. we got greenlit, basically. we get no money from them until the game starts selling. the game is still XNA, but no matter what, if you're gonna make an XBLA game, you're gonna need a devkit.
we were waiting for everything to be signed and finalized before saying anything. we really couldn't have before. and it was finalized today.

While I DO want to have crazy sex with this game, I can't afford an XBOX. Hell, for that matter even anything above freeware for the PC. I'd be happy to have it for WiiWare, a much more indie download service . (P.S. Happy Birthday Derek!)

fish loves evading certain questions.
He wants you guys to not know if there will or won't be a PC version so you'll be on your toes and keep talking about the game, even if it may never come out on PC.

Pessimism senses are tingling! Okay, I'm gonna assume fish sold out and is selling only on XBLA, and will assume that there will never be a PC version. But I'm okay with this seeing as how many awesome games never come to platforms I own. (Now if it DOES come to PC, I just get to be pleasantly surprised. )

I was expecting it to be both PC and 360, and as a 360 owner I'm glad it's coming to a console I can play it on (as my PC is rubbish...) In fact one of the reasons I play so many indie games is because this laptop can only run Oregon Trail for two minutes on a good day. If it comes out on PC though I'd like to know since I'd rather buy it for this clunker than the 360. Nothing against XBLA or anything, just that a laptop is portable, and I know the ladies get "hot and bothered" by trixels.

Congratulations! It's great to see this have a platform confirmed (and a year of release too!) I really hope this makes it to other platforms too, but I'll get it on the 360 if I have to.

I've been waiting for years for this game, following its every move, and although the news aren't a surprise and a shocker, it's probably the final hit in the nail confirming that I will never live to play it. 360's don't sell that well here, and I honestly don't know anyone who owns one; My last clinging to hope is the PC version j_j

In general it seems there is a backlash towards anything indie that is released on anything but the PC. It's a bit of a shame, but it's understandable given that the PC is where most indie content resides.

why do people think they have to whine about everything?
also, pretty sure any PC release would also fall under the whole "saying nothing till it's finalised" thing. you know, like they've been telling us for months.
anyway, this is excellent news. I won't have a 360 at university with me, but I'll definitely get a hold of the game when I'm back home on holiday or whatever.
Edit: also, why on earth would only selling on xbla be " selling out"?
