Hey all, I work as a game artist and in my free time, I make art for games... I'm also making a game called Waju, which you can learn more about here - https://twitter.com/GPriske Im gonna devote this thread to showing off my VFX work. VFXs are certainly not my primary art skill, in fact, they are very intimidating to me. But, I do enjoy making them and would love some feedback!

For starters here are two animations I made roughly a year apart (maybe more?) For reference on my progress.




Heres a breakdown of that new explosion

These are really nice! I think you might get more interactions if you hooked people right away with a GIF of each (perhaps even in the full context of your game, which is looking very neat and polished over on Twitter!) so they don't have to click further into these videos, especially since motion is what really does it. c:
