Toribash 3.0 got released, although the server is down right now, I did manage to get a copy of it before it downed, and I also believe there's a copy of Filefront for you to download if the server is still down.
And I was reading on the forums, that hampa removed the demo limitations, pretty much making it free. (The installer I used didn't have the words demo on it or anything, nor did the game when I ran it.)

Server is still up, as of now. Anyway, I found the list of changes for 3.0.
