I tried out the latest Underside demo, and it looks fine in windowed mode, but when I put it in fullscreen it looks jaggy and poorly-scaled. I finally figured out that it's trying to run in 320x240, which my display doesn't support, so it goes to the next closest resolution (480x400) which obviously it doesn't scale to as well.

Fortunately it seems that if I manually set the res to 640x480 (next even multiple of 320x240) after starting the game, then it works perfectly (at least until the next time I run it). So I guess it's not a huge problem, but it's slightly annoying.

A really easy fix would be to check if the resolution change took after startup, and if not, go to the next even multiple. Ah well. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Me, David Williamson and Mark Foster do an Indie Games podcast. Give it a listen. And then I'll send you an apology.
