those platinum games dude really seem to have a deep understanding of awesome.
ive always deplored the lack of awesomeness in games.
thing is, it fucking easy to come up with awesome concepts and premises.
im not talking mechanics or technical stuff, but just what the game is all about.

for all we know the game might suck taint, but the entire internet is simultaneously fapping over it. atleast the part that likes violence.

other example:

mech assult: lone wolf VS METAL WOLF CHAOS.
both are action games with giant mechs and the word wolf in the title.
but only one has a US presidential mech piloted by the president himself.
only one of them has the quote "NOTHING'S IMPOSSIBLE! BECAUSE I AM THE PRESIDENT OF THE GREAT. UNITED. STATES. OF AMARICAAAAA!"

It's all fun and games until someone has an eye out.  No, wait, I mean after they have an eye out.

I am looking forward to this.  One thing that strikes me (in the eye with a metal pole) is the way the developers seem to be going for comically over-the-top violence.  Even though there's questions about whether this may even be released in Japan, it's not like the panicky tabloid masses can really worry about kids playing 'man darts', is it?
