Hello!  Gentleman
It's been a long time since I've last posted a game here, but hopefully I still know how to do it. Let's see:

This game is a remake of sorts of an older game of mine, called EXCAVATORRR (that name is really awful). I made the original for th Ludum Dare 48-hour game development competition with the theme "Cavern" or something to that effect. I really enjoyed creating and playing the original, but unfortunately I lacked the skill/knowledge to make it very userfriendly.
  So here I go again, trying to fix some stuff that went wrong with the original. Quite a bit has changed, so calling this a sequel instead of a remake is quite apt. Some features have been removed and a lot has been added, hopefully for the better of the game.

Descend to the caves and try to amass as much gold and riches as possible. You win the game if you're able to retrieve the Golden Crown, but even if you wont reach it, your score will be saved and can be sent to an online scoreboard! Carrying gems and other larger treasures to a shop will earn you quite a bit of money, which you can also use to buy items.

There is a tutorial of sorts in the game, but I'll list the controls here in any case:
ARROW KEYS = Move
S = Jump
D WHILE NOT HOLDING AN ITEM = Attack
D + DOWN = Pick up and Put down
D WHILE HOLDING AN ITEM = Use or throw the item, depending on what it does
D + UP WHILE HOLDING AN ITEM = Throw the item upwards
A = Swap an item you're holding to your back and vice versa

You're probably referring to EXCAVATORRR.
But this game looks very similar to 'Spelunky'.

Picking up items, throwing them, the Main char's outfits(i.e. adventurer), looting gold, cursed idols, they are all in Spleunky too.


Anyway, trying it in a moment...



Man, the game is hard. In fact, too hard me.
You should able to type your name using the keyboard.
The On-screen keyboard takes much time.
Other wise, it was a good game. Smiley

I died when I got stuck in a pit with a ghost's dead body constantly damaging me every time I tried to move ;(

Edit: I think this really needs a tutorial level or just don't throw so many enemies at the player right from the start so the player gets a chance to get used to fighting them.  Within the first 20 seconds you end up fighting multiple enemies at once, usually ones you haven't even encountered yet.

played, i hate ghosts, cool, similar to sperunky I think, I'd probably play more if it wasn't that hard

A small update:
  • I removed the mean flowers for now
  • Ghosts have been redistributed to make them less of a nuisance
  • The amount of snails has decreased
  • Fixed a bug in the control bindings
