Hi,

I hope this is the right place to be posting this, I was hoping someone could explain the reason that my renders with Blender sometimes are covered in black spots like this:

I've had it several times and the only thing I've done to fix it in the past is to re-do a model. I think it has something to do with the number of sides? (the image in question started as a circle and I extruded it around to make the shape, and there's an environmental light if that bears any significance).

Try selecting everything in edit mode and click 'remove doubles'

@thatshelby you're a pro already Wink

Same thing will happen if you duplicate an object and just leave it exactly on top of the other one.
