I skipped Bioshock 2. But I'm down for this one. I'm a sucker for airships and what appears to be a steampunk cyborg.

Hm. It's interesting they're taking a new direction, but why even keep the Bioshock title? Why not Steamshock or something?

Nice trailer. The name is a bit stupid, but that's ok.
Bioshock 2 had better combat but worse every thing else compared to the first one.

So instead of being under the sea, it's up in the sky? Looks interesting (everything's better with airships! ), but I'm interested in seeing how this fits in with the other Bioshock games.

Ummm okay.
Couldn't they have like, not done Bioshock 2, and just called this Bioshock 2? I would have liked Irrational to have control of the series.

The art style looks really really really interesting. But so did Bioshock and they promised so much and delivered so little..
I'm not going to get too excited about this though I would very much like it to succeed.

I'd take a wild guess and say Bioshock 2 was made for the , whilst freeing up Irrational to work on this new stuff that they're more creatively interested in. Kotaku has a pretty lengthy article if you want more detail about the game. Rock Paper Shotgun have a better article. Interesting that it's not even set in the same fictional world as Bioshock (let alone the same time.) I guess naming it Bioshock is the best way to clearly tell the world that it's made by the Bioshock team without needing to do a Langdell on the -shock suffix. I hope it's named Infinite as a reference to the Marathon series.

I love bioshock, the atmosphere (well in the first) and the whole idea of a society falling apart and making a failed attempt to rebuild itself interests me to no end.
I just can't wait for the whole experience in the air, and maybe in the day. Let's hope if it is some good lighting effects will be there.

This seems really interesting! I like the robotic enemies, even though they seem to be more robotic 'vessels'. I wonder how that will turn out? I'm betting they are guards.

This game is about racism apparently.
Hopefully goes a bit deeper than 'DON'T BE RACIST'.

i read a bit more into this and i love the whole idea of people being unaware of what's going on, in a way. like the woman who sweeps her house but has no idea of it burning down.
who knows? maybe she set it on fire and forgot, maybe people died, anything, but i love the idea. i find it creepier than anything. it makes you feel as though people who may help you could turn at any minute, not like in the first game though, more in an abrupt "who the hell are you?!" moment.

? Bioshock Infinite clues in this song? Also: "When we completed the original BioShock, we felt we had said all we wanted to say with Rapture" http://irrationalgames.com/insider/announcement-from-ken-levine/sounds like bad blood.
