WIP of a puzzle game I'm making, named "Circuit Fix"; you must slide the tiles around to make a working circuit that will light the bulbs. You have to make sure the bulbs get the right power, if it's too high the bulbs will blow up, but if it's too low the bulbs won't light up. Transformers on the board will lower or rise the current accordingly.

The game will come out on mobile devices and maybe html5.

Edit: This one looks better. It's a simple game, but I kinda like it  Beer!

Big scary blobs want to digest your team! Switch between units to move them about and assign tasks. Reconfigure the map to isolate the blob and allow your scattered team mates to escape!

Had this little scene in my head for Pioneers and thought I'd try realizing it. Still very rough and not even sure if and where I might use this. Some cut-scene probably. Was going for a lone feeling, inspired by romanticism.

This is a night scene but the blues make it seem very cold, maybe I'll try adding a bit more purple.

Yup, and not breaking it here. Different screens and sections of the game use different palettes. That's the fun of it - you can play around with different colors and looks but still keep only 4 on screen at once. This would be a night palette, I guess.

Ohhh ok gotcha. That doesn't make sense kind of, though, since I always think of a game's palette as its overall colors, but I guess that definition can work here too.

Even on old systems you could dynamically change the palette of the colors on screen. It's how the DKC games managed such a ridiculously high color count, also how most Atari games would get anything on the screen at all.
So for an imaginary 4-color console it should be okay Coffee

Two more scenes with basically just the colors changed. For now they just serve as mood images to remind myself what it is that I want to achieve with the game - the atmosphere, the feel I'm going for.

I thought I was a great looking one touch/tap drifting game when I saw it.

Now I'm sad I won't get to try that.

Haven't done pixel art in forever. Had an idea for a zany RPG about the record industry and occult in LA.

Black and white 'cause I always sucked at colors. Undetailed horizon 'cause I didn't put in the effort.

Hey a quick x-post from our devlog. We're just starting to develop; these are a mockup of how we want the controls/mechanics to work and also a potential colour palette for a level.
