Im looking for some good Boardgames "ported" to pc? Like some good old classics like Talisman, Puerto Rico, Roborally etc.

My friend that i used to play boardgames with have moved and we no longer have the time to travel to each other so an online boardgame would be great! Any tips?

I play Catan here....They have Carcassone, too.  It's all Java based, so you can play right in your browser.  The interface is a little wonky at times, and there aren't really instructions, because the games are blatant ripoffs, but still worth playing.

It hasn't been updated in ten years and it requires Java, but I still use Yahoo Games for online board games.

I play Catan here....

They have absolutely horrible graphics though. I've been meaning to try this instead.

I've played online and it's fun, but nothing can compare to playing with actual people.

I wanna try that version of Catan Core Xii  posted. Also if anyone knows of a place to play Munchkin, I'd be a happy boy.

Playing Munchkin online would be pretty sweet. I trawled the Web once, looking for a way. All I came up with was this. Ah, well. It was worth a shot.

One day. Sad

Oh, I play that! It has some oddities (for instance, you can walk around in a virtual world completely unrelated to Catan) but it's quite good.

Good to know it works, my first look at it was slightly put off by the virtual chat world thingy. (put off? In fact, it scared me away!)

If you want to play Board Games online, mates, you want to look at www.BrettSpielWelt.de as it not only has Cataan, but tons of other major releases, all legally, and tons of people around (many speak English). It also has a random metagame world for some reason, but you can ignore it and just play Siedlers or Tichu or Lost Cities or something.

Plus, it's written in Java, and has a cross-platform client which is nice.
