I don't know, but you probably should've just bumped the old topic, or check the guys Youtube channel.

Awww, i hope not. This is the first time i've heard of it, and from the videos it looks incredibly fun.

For those who haven't seen this before, there's a demo here, and we have a couple of old threads on it...

What are the controls for that demo? Or is it just arrows and zxc. The video showed a guy blocking, which i couldn't figure out. It is a lot of fun though ... until it crashed!

edit: nm, figured them out. Wow this game is hard!

Well, as Imp suggested, checking the YouTube channel is a good idea, as it reveals a new video from only a month ago:

So, it doesn't really look dead Smiley

Yes it does. They better be working hard on this because no one else seems to be doing 2D Hack 'n Slashs.

There are a few other people doing 2D Hack 'n Slashs.  Did anyone here play the Dishwasher demo when it was out on XBLA?  When I first played it I actually thought, "this is a ripoff of Katakijin," but that's not really fair.  That game has a lotta fun stuff going for it.  Can't wait till it comes out.

I would definitely be psyched for a full version of Katakijin, too.

STUPID ME! Dishwasher is my most (well 2nd thanks to Cave Story Wii) anticipated indie game. I loved all the videos on youtube.
