Short Introduction

Hi, everyone! Let me introduce ourselves. We are Rolling Glory Jam, with me, serigalaamatir as Game Designer and Programmer, marino_maverick as Conceptor & 2D Artist, Karina Utami as 2D Artist, Fufu to help me with programming, and wastuwastu to help with the story developments. During the development of this game, we are collaborating with Monkey Melody, who will handle all sounds, including background musics and sound effects (will share his work here later).

Last but not least, we plan to make this thread to be our DevLogs. Stay tuned to hear more about our game’s development.





Game Description

Rage In Peace is a rage game full of surprises where players are forced to memorize obstacles in order to finish the stage. It tells the tale of Timmy’s journey and his struggles to go home to fulfill his dream. With the combination of story-driven experience, fun and unexpected environments, and a little touch of gore with a lot of blood and slashing involved, we hope Rage In Peace will be a game that is fun to play and fun to watch.

We chose Unity for the development because it is editor friendly, especially when used in a small team like ours. We plan to distribute the game for PC/Mac via Steam and other distribution channel, such as GoG, itch.io, etc.



Game Story



Timmy Malinu is a commoner with a sole dream. His only wish is to die asleep in his pajamas in the warmth of home, in peace, and without any drama.

Sadly for Timmy, that simple dream won’t be that easy to fulfill. Because by the time a Grim Reaper paid him a little visit, and alongside him a prophecy to deliver, Timmy was told that he will die that day and with his head cut off. Struggled to have his dream fulfilled, Timmy still has time until the end of the day to rushed home. It appears that it will be an extraordinary day for him, unlike any other ordinary days he used to had.

Why does Timmy wants to die in his sleep so badly? Did something happened in the past and was it the reason why Timmy barely feels happy or sad? And why does the Grim Reaper even bother coming to him? Those mysteries will be revealed throughout Timmy’s last journey.

Development Goals and Status

Our current plan is to finish stage 2, along with the story cinematics, game features, and achievements by the end of September 2016. For the full development, our target is to be able to finish the game by the end of 2017. Hopefully.

As for now, we have just finished the game level for stage 1. We will do more jamming and concepting for our next stages before starting the develop stage 2 and other game features.

We plan to make this thread to be our DevLogs. Stay tuned to hear more about our game’s development!
