Cactus, Petri, Anna Anthropy and Derek have all been paired up with GR artists to make artsy games to be played at the gallery.

opening is friday 27th, at giant robot, which is situated at:
618 Shrader St., San Francisco CA 94117

super excited about this.

We don't have an opening time set yet, but as soon as we do I will be sure to update this thread.

What time do you fly out?

Awesome, thanks.

My flight departs at 10:30pm, so accounting for checkin, security, transport to the airport and a bit of paranoia I'd probably have to leave at 7pm. Please don't change anything on my behalf though Smiley

Most of the other shows at GRSF start at 6:30, so I doubt it will start any later than that. At least you'll be able to catch part of it!

Are you positive? So these will end up on the internet then?

It's not associated with GDC in any way, and it's up to the teams whether or not they want to make the games available for download or not.

Anna had this to say on tiny cartridge:

Quote
i'm planning to release saelee's and my game online, though it may be tough to fully experience, as it's designed to be played on four controllers by a constantly-rotating set of people. that's what's exciting about this: as with arcade games, these games are designed to be experienced in a particular context, in a social space, rather than privately on a computer. messhof, who rigs his games to be played in galleries on projection screens, coined the term "new arcade" to describe the idea.
