I made a Genestealer for the pixel dailies... Kinda looks like it's from an RPG or a fighting game... or something :D

(Those things the CZECH ORTHODOX MONK SKULL GHOST is tied up with? They're plot-relevant!) (And the book on his back too.) This makes me happy File this under never-gonna-get-done-pipe-dream-in-the-pipe-sky-fancy-private-project.
This makes me sad again

Made a new baddie for my game. I've been really into glossy surfaces lately.
Very...slick

Feedback encouraged - not happy with it. Feels like several things are "off".

gemstones Feedback encouraged
edit: also forgot to add feeback, SeanNoonan. I think it might look a little more natural if you made the dunes fade to a more light blue the further away they go, rather than a darker purple, since the backdrop is blue here. I could be wrong though

I agree, though I like those bright pastel colors. Really nice.
Cool gems, Rakugaki. Is he gonna transform into some sort of Super Reaper or something, hah?

They're all simplified characters, by the way. I also like to think of this as a nice way of learning the characters.

As somebody who has drawn all 2137 jouyou kanji... no, it's not. You'll regret it when you reach the point that you want to give up but already did too much to throw it away. Also you don't really get to memorize them since you barely interact with them for a couple of minutes only, and you're doing that for thousands of characters.
At least on the upside you become extremely good at telling the radicals when you find a kanji you can't recognize (which is important when you have to look it up and when you're learning to write it).

I've been sitting on an unfinished Samus sheet for way too long due to just feeling unmotivated.
