Warioland will always be awesome, no matter what console or handheld it's on. The wiimote interaction will work perfectly for this game.

Because widescreen ain't old-school. Early 90's gaming ftw! Wink

Seriously, I'm trying to get my hands on a copy but the store I went to had not received their copies. I probably get mine tomorrow. Really looking forward to this.

Nintendo is genius using their characters and keeping them alive for some long. Who'd have thunk that the boss in Super Mario Land 2 would be such a star one day. Now that's using your resources wisely!  WTF

Reusing your assets is fine, but Nintendo is being borderline autistic with the marios and shit.

^Yeah, seriously. Mario Baseball? Come on.

Warioland games are pretty consistently awesome (except master of disguise on DS). I think the only one I haven't played through is the virtual boy one... eventually I'll have to get one of those eyesores.
^This. Wario Land 4 (for the GBA) was probably the very best one, IMO. If this new one is anything like it at all, I'll have to give it a try.

Also, holy crap, I watched a few trailers, and the animation is impressive. Why can't more mainstream games have great hand-drawn art like this?

Same reason that 'real' is brown...

I want this game, but I won't have time to play it. Sad  I've had Super Mario Galaxy for months, yet haven't touched it for that same reason.

That's 'cause Production I.G. handled the animation- they're famous for, among other series, Patlabor, Ghost in the Shell, and FLCL.

This game has officially gone on my DO WANT List.

Did you sleep in at the beginning or did you do it normally?
