OK, so I really think we should try and get some TIG shirts made. I for one would love to have a shirt with that sweet joystick with glasses on it. And we should really get an art book made from the TIGS draws robots thread, someone had even suggested blurb as a site that we could quite conveniently use. The mods here rock, and I'd be happy to pay in advance and "order" through them once all the details were sorted out, and they just needed to have the things made. I just think it's a shame that we don't have anything non-digital to show for such an awesome place!  |

TIGSource Draws Robots: The Official Book of The Movie would be hella awesome, though. Maybe with a little "story behind the robot/insane author rant" for each bot. I'd purchase it for MY coffee table. Especially if it comes packaged WITH a coffe table.

I hadn't heard of those until yesterday, and yeah, I'd love one of those too. Maybe they should just get more made for those of us not able to go to the Jam (and who would put money up front, I'm assuming). And it didn't have to be the joystick, that's just the Tig logo, so that's what I suggested. And yeah, Ts only. |

Good God no. I dunno, I'm not sure there really should be any TIGS T-shirts. It kinda makes sense for the Jams, but it doesn't make sense at all to wear a 'Jam T-shirt if you didn't go. I mean, would you wear an "I love San Francisco" T-shirt someone got you because you hadn't been able to go to San Francisco? Maybe you would. You shouldn't. Because you haven't been to San Francisco. But seriously, have Hobbs pissing on anything of this sort and indie gaming dies forever. Hobbs should never be pissing on anything, anyway. Hobbs pissing on things is for people who... who think Hobbs pissing on things is something they'd like to have on their car or carry about their personage, and those people are threats to all of society. |

Well, I think that the Jam shirt is nondescript enough to not matter. It's not like it says TigJam 08' on it or anything. And most of TIGS international members won't be able to attend, so the fact that people at the Jam get such a cool shirt makes not being able to go that much worse. |

The thing about those 'pissing Calvin' images is that, as far as I know, they aren't approved by Bill Watterson. In fact, there's not a whole lot of Calvin and Hobbes merchandise due to his intense dislike of the usual whoring out that popular cartoon characters seem to get. Let us pray that this remains the same, and that Hollywood never tries to make a Calvin and Hobbes movie. Although, if Bill actually made it and had total creative control, that actually might be interesting...
