It's been a while since the last one of these threads so I hope nobody minds me starting another one. Here we can post examples of possible new smileys, or even make requests for new smileys.

Here are my suggestions:
OS logos: For when you want to denote or emphasize which OS you are talking about.

• "Download | Download"
• "You can get the demo here, or here"

Here are some that I've seen others around here post:
TIG logo: Just because it's the site logo.

• "TIGSource"

The Langdell: To emphasis when you disapprove of someone's underhand business practices.

• "Have you seen the latest Activision game?"
• "Zynga are giving a talk at the GDC."

More hands: Because everyone loves the hands.

• "See you at TIGJam for some crazy coding. "
• "TIGer beer is the only beer for real men. "

WHYYYY: The ultimate dismay or dispair.

• "I can't believe NiCALIS changed Balrog's HUZZAH. "
• "WHYYYY!!!111"

NO NO NO: I strongly disagree with this statement.

• "Games are art. "
• "^ "

Necro: For when you feel a thread is worth necro'ing, but you still want to apologise for it.

• "This game has had a major update, so might be worth checking out again. "
• "Just wanted to let you know I used these Assemblee assets in my latest game. "

The Creeper: To show that something scared the bajeebus out of you.

• "Amnesia was ."
• "That bit gets me every time. "

Disgusted: To show your disgust at something.

• "Why a serial killer roguelike? "
• "phubans! Not again. "

Lost Innocence: For when your childhood just got raped.

• "Where did you find that image Dacke? "
• "i just noticed the above pikachu  "

Rock On: To show your delight at doing or seeing something excellent.

• "My game got accepted for Steam. "
• "That mock-up is awsomesauce. "

Flattered: The happy kind of embarrassment. +

• "Thanks for all the great comments guys. "
• "Cactus said he's impressed by my game. "

Frustrated: Somewhere between and

• "I'm learning quaternions. "
• "Trying to get this app signed for the Mac AppStore. "

Dead/Deader/Reborn: To emphasise the current state of something.

• "What's the state of this project? ?"
• "It's worse than that. "
• "It's back. "

Bruised: I may be battered but I'm still fighting.

• "I'm still playing Super Meat Boy without a joypad! "
• "Trying to figure out how to compile this for Linux. "

Here are some suggestions that I don't have smileys for:
Head exploded: for when just isn't enough.
Consoles: Similar in use to the OS smileys.

Also, I don't know what it's called but I always use this emoticon --> :3 to make myself look cute. My cuteness factor isn't exactly affecting anyone here at tigs so I suggest we get a smiley sprite for it now!

What thread was that in?  It was a good one.  Really captures the plight of the indie developer.

Do the Something Awful forums use a system where users can pay to get new smilies implemented?  Maybe I'm mis-remembering that, but it could be a good method of balancing the inevitable glut of smilies with financial support for these excellent forums.  Perhaps a paid smilie would still require admin approval?
