All ye who make homebrew for a console, be it portable or stationary, raise your hand!
I recently got looking into DS homebrew programming, myself. It's really nice, it is.

Some dude was actually porting it to the gamecube, and the step between those isn't the biggest.

I made this for the GBA a few years ago I'd love to mess about with some DS stuff, but I haven't really had the time. Did get a "hello world" up and running though.

I made a drawing app.
Only you couldn't save the image, and if you changed the colour it changed the colour of everything on the screen.

I wrote a GBA game to show off for an interview. They offered me an unpaid testing job instead. Bonus: they went out of business two projects later due to a reputation for bugs.

Sadly, I don't have the time to make a DS game. Unless I port SUPER LAKITU BROS* to the DS.
*Work in progress. Idea suggested by Otaku42.

Not affiliated with this group, but pretty cool: Bomberman played in real life, with a motion sensor set up so your movements control the Bomberman.

There have always been interactive experiences that go beyond entertainment. For example, if mafia games are too fun for you, then you can always join the mafia.

I played around with some GBA dev once. Didn't make a game, quite, just tests.

Homebrew is fun. I'd make some myself, but I'd feel more than a little discouraged by the fact that the companies that made the consoles don't want me homebrewing on it (except Pandora).

Why would that make you discouraged? It's not illegal for you to do it, so.
