I know this is a bit embarrassing but I simply can't recall the name of this game even though I RECOGNIZE IT and could've sworn that I even PLAYED it. It's so friggin' frustrating. ;-) The screenshot even shows VERY characteristic parts of this title... Man... --- Game rulesOK - since the concept of such a game on the TIGSource forums seems to appeal to everyone I changed the topic title and added this very description to my first post. The rules of the game are simple - post one or several screenshots of ANY game (PC/console/other system, indie/non-indie). The first person to guess its title is allowed to post another game and so on. If somebody guesses a game but doesn't feel like posting one then he/she should say so - that way ANY other person can put another screenshot up for guessing. If any given title gets "stuck" and can't be identified for one or two days (unlikely on these forums ^^) the author of the post should give away some hints and after several days resolve the mystery. He/she is, of course, a winn0r and may post another game straight away. Have fun - I might bump in here from time to time. ^^

I think that's "Fury of the Furries"... though I've never actually played the game, so I could be mistaken...

That looks kinda neat. Is this a free game, or what?

AFAIK it was an old commercial DOS game. I actually remember playing that, it was cool (especially the grappling hook, or whatever it had), but I think it got pretty hard after a while...

Yeah, Fury of the Furries. I played it a bit, pretty good. But it gets real hard. It must be easy to find.

Thanks guys - yeah, I played the game. Of course I asked this question only because there's some "game identification thread" going on in another community and I just couldn't let this one go. ;-) Usually I simply skip the games I don't recognize immediately but the thing was - I DID recognize this one. ;-)

Should we turn this thread into a game identification forum game? Seems like it would be cool. Maybe take little portions of a screenshot that cut out a lot of the stuff, see if people can identify the game.

Jesus fuck dude. There are only 286 google results for this, and only 26 with "similar results omitted". If anyone picks this w/out the aid of hax I shall bow before them.

Um, minor note, rename your image files before you post them here. You know, for all those cheaters. Not that any would should up. But, looks like an interesting little game.

Nah, just change the title. I'll start: Dangerous... shit, someone already got it. Just a suggestion, though: make sure you download the picture, rename it, and host it elsewhere. That one points to a SoftDisk-related site.

POST ANOTHER SCREENY TEEGEE
Shit, I screwed up and broke the order . I owe a BJ to everyone who posted in the thread. Please send your requests. Note to myself: if I'm about to post during my work hours, I should take my time to at least read the thread . Anyway: This one's like the best and most drugged up on drugs game ever. It's the only game that uses words like: poponka, bloch, pipetka and raffa. And they actually start making sense after you play for long enough and let the game rape your mind.
