Hi! I'm Superdisk.

I made this game really quickly, a bit inspired by Hempuli.
It is very innovative, it includes fantastic features such as Goombas ans Coins!  Durr...?
And a twist. But I won't spoil it right now. Smiley

I fear that it will be confusing, but my friends seemed to find it humorous. Anyway, it's super short so it shouldn't matter.

Also, please don't shoot me for posting this as my first topic? Concerned

Congratulations on finishing a game! Hempuli's work is quite inspiring, isn't it? Make sure to introduce yourself on this thread when you get a chance.

As for the game itself, it telegraphs its twist rather obviously in the introduction, and the twist itself isn't really anything new. (An old Jonny Smeby game that seems to have fallen off the web had health packs which killed you and a similar unreliable narrator.) My biggest complaint is that jumping over obstacles is so difficult that I wasn't able to reliably act on my intentions to choose whether or not to trust the narrator's advice at each of the challenges.

My friend told me that the objects were too difficult to jump over as well. Thanks for the response, seems no one I know actually wanted to play it. Facepalm I had no idea I was having the same ideas as 'Jonny'. What was the name of his game?

Also, I guess I should have toned down the 'LISTEN TO THE FREAKING TUTORIAL' stuff at the beginning. Once again, thanks for the feedback!

Mr. Chump's Ventures, but it looks like he took a lot of his old games offline. Sad

Oh and I forgot to say that I found the goomba's death dialogue quite charming, although they faded a bit too fast to read in some cases.
