Anyone have opinions on the new Beserk reboot? I haven't seen the first one, and I've heard conflicting reports on the quality of the reboot.

Personally: The original was excellent, but it does show its age when watched nowadays. It also cut out a key character from the manga and there was always going to be a plot hole around that going forward. The reboot movies are a bit meh. They covers the same ground, reintroduce the missing character, and tell basically the same story. It also feels a bit dead inside. After watching all three once each, I had little desire to watch them again. I did, however, feel the urge to go back and rewatch the original series. ... and it was at this point I discovered (remembered?) that apparently another 24-episode series has been made and premiered in the last couple of days. Now I need to find a way to watch it.

Also I watched the first episode and yeah the 3D looks kinda terrible, I'm gonna keep watching it because I haven't read the manga and I want to see the story continued.

The character I meant was the Skull Knight, but I guess I could have meant Puck. Possible he means ...
You are correct. It's up on Crunchyroll.
Cheers. I gave that a try and no luck. Maybe it was a once-off, or a region-blocking thing, or I just suck at finding stuff. Can you still view it?

Finally some cel-shaded anime that actually looks good! Very impressed with that.
