Since I started with DEATHWORLD I've been too busy, so someone else will probably have to make this happen.

What is this mutiny going on in my thread.

Anyway.

Possibilities right now:
Multiple short length comics (10-15 pages each?) based on one theme, or one page.

Backwards comicompo.

The short comic length idea has a major advantage of being done within a reasonable amount of time.  The backwards comicompo is cool, but will take a long ass time if 50 people end up entering again.

I like the short length idea a lot.

Perhaps we could do a bit of both -- run a few of the short length ones backwards ... ?

I vote for minicomics. You're likely to get more applicants next time because the last one was so epic! TigerHand Metal Right

I also vote for having mechanisms in place to quickly skip over people who aren't paying attention. Waiting five days for someone to post "Oh, sry, ComicWut?!" is a waste of everyone's time.

Hello this is Pencerkoff

Any chance of having a bracket for people that suck at drawing?  I'd join if I were amongst like-minded fools.

Maybe a pixel-league for people not willing to handle more than a 320x240 size page.

I think that part of the comicompo is to have everyone regardless of skill participate in the same bracket.  I think that there's something beautiful about having people of all drawing abilities participate in the same story...   Gentleman

Can we at least get some people who won't immediately go "lol danceoff im so randum n funy"? I mean I don't care if all comicompo members can't draw but I think we should at least have some coherence in our pages.

But the dance off caused a huge story arc that lasted for a good amount of pages.

I think the point of the comicompo is that people should just do whatever the fuck they want with their page, no matter how incoherent it might become. If people start imposing on what I should or should not do, it just takes the whole fun aspect out of the equation.
I mean, that's the whole point of Exquisite Corpse games.

Sad

Anyway, I think that it's safe for me to confess that it was me that took such a long-ass time to finish my page. I just wanted to finish it, so I changed the last panel. Originally it was a tiny bit more coherent.

How about we theme the minicomics and let everyone subscribe to the one they like best? Natural filter.

did i just see langdell turn into a bald monk of awesome  Shocked

Seriosly though, I'd like if in the next comicompo people would try including some coherency. For example, just including langdell's name in th next page would have prevented the change(for a while at least)

So what are we talking about... like each page is a story card?
