I've decided I want to teach myself C++ from a book, but i'm not sure which one to get.

Are there any books you guys would reccomend for somebody with no previous knowlage of C++ coding?

Accelerated C++: Practical Programming by Example is a really good place to start. Its a little sparse in places but it will get your hands on the keyboard and learning key concepts quickly.

After finishing that and doing a bit of programming check out Effective C++: 55 Specific Ways to Improve Your Programs and Designs its a great reference for solid practices.
