Salutations TIGers.
I made a quick detour from the project I've been working on for the last six months (adventure'ish) in order to make a lighter title. Been quietly lurking in the background of this forum for a while and I'm obviously an avid follower of the TIGSource rss-feed.
Instead of just asking you guys to spend your time checking out the game I figured some free codes were in order. The only requirement to getting one is posting a comment in this thread. Of course, if you like it then I'd give you the proverbial "hugs 'n kisses" if you told someone else about the game. If less than 25 people post in the thread, and I don't expect that many to take an interest, you can be certain of receiving a code.
A somewhat abbreviated (but still, possibly, unbearably long) post-mortem of the game can be found at my blog in the signature. Since it's the first game I've released as an indie (yipes) you can expect the post-mortem to be somewhat unstructured, any comments on what is actually interesting in one of those things would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to all of this, please bear with me.
One thing I should note, the youtube trailer kind of stinks. I was all pepped to show off the goodness when I realized that I'd ruin the levels by showing the hidden spots. After that sad fact sank in I tried desperately to show off as many aspects of the game as I could and keep spoilers to a single level. Hopefully it at least fulfills its purpose and explains what to expect, and that the multiplayer aspect isn't complicated to use.
Synopsis:
“Hit the Spot” features the classic find the differences (also known as “spot the differences” and “Finn Fem Fel”) game mechanic but it has a unique twist; online cooperative multiplayer over both local networks and over the internet. Team up with your friends and attempt to find all the concealed differences, but hurry, time will run out quicker than one might think!
