I want the movement/swinging to feel really sex-y, so let me know if you have tweak ideas. I already know I need to add a grace period to the swing jump so you don't accidentally go the wrong way...

The art and style reminds me a lot of Botanicula, in a good way.

I vastly prefer the tap-outside-the-box to fire the needle to the swipe-on-Stitchy mechanism. It makes midair double swings a lot more feasible/fun.
I like dinging the instruments, but it feels like the needle should shoot out and ding them rather than just being able to tap them any time. I thought this was what was happening when I first clicked on the triangle directly above my head.
Shishkebabing insects is fun.
Also, just a small bug I noticed with this early version: you can pretty easily get yourself thrown into the void off the left edge of the room, never to return.

Agree on PC, the swipe feels nicer on the iPad. Right now the way the tap-to-fire works is it depends what you tap on. But I suppose I could change it to be that + edges of the screen, so that you can always fire up even if you can't see stuff above you. Depends how we go about designing levels I suppose... I thought this was what was happening when I first clicked on the triangle directly above my head. Agreed, this is coming... Shishkebabing insects is fun. Woot! Also, just a small bug I noticed with this early version: you can pretty easily get yourself thrown into the void off the left edge of the room, never to return. Ohh... how so? Thanks for the feedback.

The art looks nice. And the control feels nice too. Looking forward to seeing what the levels look like.

This is gorgeous. Played the prototype on PC and I'm not keen on the way it controls at this point. That said, I can't really think of any constructive ideas sorry!
But again, it's gorgeous. Feels good to stumble on a project with so much potential so early!

Hmm! Anything further you can tell us about why the controls aren't workin' for ya?

It sometimes takes a few tries, but I usually get it by shishkebabing an insect near the top-left corner - see this screenie:

controls took me a while to figure out but they worked well once i did figure them out! are interactive objects going to be a thing with this game? It'll be a nice game for the iPad, I'm sure.

Hmm maybe having an intro level to introduce the controls in the next prototype will help. [quote[are interactive objects going to be a thing with this game?[/quote] Yeah! There's gonna be a bunch of stuff you can move around and interact with other ways... It'll be a nice game for the iPad, I'm sure. Thanks.
