Is that a Secret of Mana xylophone I hear? Dig the vibe, man. I've been meaning to do something with snes soundfonts for a while simply because that era has been such an influence on my life.

I got myself a metal band.
A while ago, we were set to perform at a local place. There was no practice session beforehand, and we had not prepared any material to play that night. Improvisation ensued.
This is the result:

Just take that cartridge off the shelfI'll sit and play it all by myself Todays games seem totally lame I like that old time videogame *for the two people that don't know this is an 8bit arranged version of a Bob Seger song, not an original composition.*

http://soundcloud.com/peanutbuttershoes/doodle-pooThis is the kind of thing you never show anyone if you want to be taken seriously as a musician. Luckily, I don't care about being taken seriously as an anything.

Well, first of all, excuse me for not knowing how to share MediaFire folders properly. This is one link that shares 24 files at the same time. So here's the link through an URL shortener: http://is.gd/xAUfE7I do not have those huge, cinematic, Hanz-Zimmer-like professional sound libraries, I'm just using soundfonts. So, although my music is technically "synth orchestra", it sounds kinda "videogamey", as my friend puts it... but maybe this is just what some of you want? The melodies are actually quite cool and the mood is there... Some of them are intended to loop, but most of them aren't. Enjoy! I'll be honest here: my financial situation is quite dire right now, so I *really* hope someone ends up liking my music enough to hire me. (Payment depends on the project needs and you can contact me at [email protected]. Remove "NOSPAM" for it to work. And I reeeeeeeally hope this does not just sound like a shameless plug!)

This makes me think of walking down some strange overly advanced street in a megaman meets zelda gameplay styled game, meeting interesting npcs and hoping they'll tell me what the hell to do.
