Doors & Levers


Playing Doors & Levers consists of navigating through a long maze-like dungeon by facing logic puzzles, platforming challenges and enemies with clear, learnable patterns. You'll grab loads of useful items in the way - especially if you find some of the many secret rooms filled with hidden goods.


Logic puzzles involve levers, buttons, pressure plates, tripwires and other objects that interact with all sorts of elements such as pillars, moving platforms, cannons and exploding barrels.

Classic platforming challenges include spikes, rotating wrecking balls of death, jumping platforms, moving platforms, and all that stuff you're used to.

Enemies with clear patterns walk, jump around, fly, cling to the ceiling, wave swords at you, throw stuff, and more. Each of their behaviors can be learned and skillfully dealt with in a variety of ways.

Chests spawn random items which you can place on one of the two slots you start with (you get more later). Items are either weapons which allow you to hurt enemies, or accessories which allow you to do various things such as dodging hits, double jumping, hovering, dealing damage on-contact etc. Any level can be completed with any item combination.

Secret rooms contain chests, extra potions, boxes full of coins, and shortcuts that reward the most attentive players.
