Hey guys,

We need some playtester for our alpha version. Usually you have to request the alpha build through our website contact form because we want to keep track of how many people got the alpha version, but only for this forum I will put a link to the alpha version: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_1r8DvKJ4zpZngzTTQ5UEhHV3M/edit?usp=sharing
Download it and play it. Please reply us your feedback, it will really help us.

Thank you...
More info about the game: http://www.virtualescapegames.com/chaosShell.html

EDIT: Forgot to mention that there is a 'PlaytestQuestion.docx' document with the demo. It would be great if you could fill that up and send it to [email protected]

EDIT2:
If you get MSVCP110.dll error please download Visual C++ 2012 x86 (32 bit) redistributable from this site: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
When you click 'Download' button, there will be 3 options. Please choose the 'VSU3\vcredist_x86.exe' which is 6.2 MB.

If you get any error related to DirectX, download DirectX 9.0 (Feb 2010) Redistributable from: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=9033

I tried to run it but I'm missing MSVCP110.dll.  I think you accidentally uploaded a build with profiling enabled ..

Ok, I tried it out, it's a cool concept.  I don't know if you added sound/music yet but I didn't hear anything.  Also there were little to no effects when enemies die.

I think the player needs more feedback when an enemy is damaged but will recover and continue attacking the player.  The fast moving enemies in level 2 seem to "play dead" when hit, then come back to life and continue attacking you.

In fact the game just needs more visual and audio feedback overall.  Another example is the enemy portals when they're about to appear look like a small dark circle and give no indication what it's supposed to be, and when a powerup appears, there's no effect for that either.  I think once you add that, it will feel a lot more playable.

Thank you for your feedback. We don't have sound in the game yet but I will talk with my team about the feedback issue and will try to solve it in the final version of the game.
