Saying that someone or something is really Derek Yu consitutes the pinnacle of humor on TIGS.
Also, Super Joe.

I always wanted to know the name of the marketing department guy that came with with that Daikatana campaign of hilarity.
Also, I'm totally not just posting more in this thread to piss off hippo-dolphin-guy over there.

The Daikatana marketing was done in part by one of the Gamecock guy if I remember well. Don't remember his name though. My memeory is hazy but I recall reading about him and Romero publicly quarelling on blogs or personal websites. I need to do a bit of research.

Ah, here we are! According to Romero, Mike Wilson would be mostly responsible for that ad that refered to Romero's gaming prowesses. However, these two guys don't like each other much and knives were flying in 2008 regarding Gamecock's publicity stunts.

So who remembers this sacrilegious adaptation of a similar piece of classic literature? Judging by the tastes expressed around here, most likely none of you.

I always wanted to make a video pinball version of A Child's Christmas in Wales. Don't tell me that wouldn't be great.

@Mobius: what is that? Blake adaptations can go wrong in a number of ghastly ways (see: Ginsberg, the Doors), and I'm curious.

Don't make assumptions. I listened to this album once some years back. I don't really remember much of it because it kinda failed to grip me, I can't comment on the adaption either, not having read the source material.

It's God of War.
Right down to the controls.
Written by people who may have stood in the same room as a copy of The Divine Comedy at some point.
