Play Bayonetta, it's better.
Seriously. Why eat a burger when you might as well have a steak?  Cheesy
Not just a steak, but a full course meal with 2 steaks.

More like why eat a muffin when you can eat a cake.  Well, hello there!

I played both Dante's Inferno and Bayonneta demos at GameX in Philly. Night and day.

My biggest gripe in Dante's Inferno was the puzzle though. A person who was working at the booth had to do it for me, and even after watching them do it, it made absolutely no sense to me.The combat was straight God of War standard stuff. Plus it really did not appear to run very well, it looked kinda jaggy actually.

Bayonneta on the other hand looked buttery smooth makes me want to pick up a 360 asap.

Dante's Inferno had a better booth though.

Will there be a pikachu on the cake?
Unfortunately, there wasn't.

It was covered in marzipan and filled with cream that also tasted like marzipan. Needless to say, it was delicious. Lack of Pikachu was definitely a drawback though.

Is it just me, or does that anime reek of the same failure as the Dead Space: Downfall movie... anyone seen that? Please say no.

Dude, if this game is as awesome as I'm hearing, I will be more than willing for them to take a stab at Shakespeare. The level designs are sounding wonderfully grotesque- who cares if the adaptation isn't particularly accurate? I've decided that if it's a good game, then it's a good game- it'd be nice for someone to try and adapt classic literature seriously, but that's evidently not EA's job.

There is nothing wrong with encouraging our generation to look at classical works.

So long as we're cherry picking reviews...

Full disclosure: Read the book. Played the 360 demo. Was bored by the combat and laughing in disbelief at the cutscenes.

Does Destructoid get money thrown at it? They got shitstormed about a month ago for giving Assassin's Creed a 4.5/10   Shrug

I mean, I know it has earned everybody's everlasting hatred for shitting all over their favorite medieval classic religious literature, but that doesn't automatically mean it's a bad game. I'm pretty sure it hasn't even come out yet, so could we please, I dunno, reserve judgment for the few days leading up to release?

There'll probably be a plot summary and a full dialogue document within hours of the game hitting stores, anyway. Then we can talk about how it's shitting all over the greatest classics of the era of man. Smiley

That wasn't a "huh, how terrible", just a "huh, interesting." Personally I've given up caring because there's already some decent video game adaptations that are more faithful.

And Destructoid is the only review site I follow, so I'm not really "cherry picking" as much as "offering up".

Personally I think a badass Macbeth could be fine, but it's one of my favorite plays by Shakespeare and I don't want to see it poorly adapted. On the other hand, I like seeing things REALLY poorly adapted, so that could be a plus.

Huh. 9/10.
That's actually the first really positive review I've seen for the game Durr...? The 3 or 4 others I saw boiled down to, "mediocre, wait for hot chicks game or shirtless tattoo man game."

I sometimes feel like Dtoid goes against the grain for the sake of it.
