Interested in the thing on the 20th, what time probably?
Was thinking some time starting in the afternoon probably? What times would be good for people?

Anytime is fine for me. If we start in the afternoon, that gives us time to get lots done and eat lots of pizza. Maybe 3 or 4pm till late?

How about we meet inside Noisebridge? Location: 2169 Mission St. between 17th & 18th. It's above a produce market. Ring the bell with their logo on the metal gate and you should get buzzed in after a few seconds. Food: After enough hungry TIGs show up, we can head to Arinell for pizza a block away. It's a cheap (but fresh), tiny, no-sitting-room kinda joint run by hardcore punks. & FWIW I think their crust is 100% vegetarian-friendly.

Oh... that place. I used to eat there when I worked at Ron's... It's like a hipster dive wanna-be-East-Coast slice. It's not the best but it's not that bad so I can dig it. That Noisebridge place sounds fine but obscure and hidden or like it's in someone's house. I guess that could be cool unless it's really in someone's house and SUDDENLY HIPSTERS EVERYWHERE AND EVERYONE'S WONDERING WHY THERE'S A FAT PERSON (ME) THERE But seriously, that sounds fine... What time are we looking at? 2ish?

Either 2ish or 3ish (hyrx's suggestion ...) sound good to me! edit -- I put it tentatively at 2:30, updated first post with the plans

Is anyone from San Jose (I'm in Sunnyvale to be precise) driving up with a free seat and wouldn't mind some company? I'll chip in for gas, and I swear that my uncontrollable gas doesn't smell that strong...

If I make it I'll be taking Caltrain up from San Jose.

Hey folks- I'd love to go, unfortunately I have a conflict. I definitely want to make it to the next meetup, though! I hope you all have fun.

I just got out of the shower and I'm running about a half an hour late, so I'll probably be there closer to 3. I just wanted to get the finishing touches on this boss in my game, which put me a little behind schedule... But I'll be there! See you guys in an hour or so

I had fun Thanks for coming out, all I might not be around for one in December, but feel free to start a thread for that if you can make it. Would be great for this to continue as a monthly event.

Yeah, it was cool... I think we should plan better for the next one, though. I mean, I had a great time and there was plenty of socializing, but I don't think I got any actual work done. I think the 1-hour-game-rush-compo would have been interesting... I also thought it would be cool if we all wrote a word on a slip of paper, dropped it into a hat, and pulled out two, using those two words to dictate the theme of our game. Maybe next time though, eh?
