Hello, I am an android game developer, and I have just released my second game on the android market. It is called Socialscape

Here is the description for it:

Socialscape is a physics based action puzzle game. Throughout this game there will be puzzles to solve, like moving blocks around to get to an exit. You will have to train creatures called Critters to navigate though conveyor belts, saw blades, and other obstacles. As the game progresses the obstacles, and puzzles you have to get the critters through will gradually get harder.

Here is a link to it:

full version:

lite version:

If anyone tries it out could you please give me some feedback on what you like, and what I can improve upon,

thanks,
Chris Johnson

Played the trial. Felt like a simple tutorial. Didn't convince me there were any interesting challenges in the full game.

The tutorial signs were a bit clunky. It wasn't entirely intuitive to me that you had to slightly overlap solid game objects to bring up hints, then stop moving to keep them onscreen. Moving from one adjacent sign to another in the first level felt really cumbersome.

The virtual thumbstick worked well, and I got used to the delayed movement of the follower creatures pretty quickly. I didn't quite get why this was called "training" since the creatures didn't seem like they were learning to move independently.

The level select screen was hideous. Light green on slightly darker green and white does not read well at all. In general, the UI didn't feel polished or coherent.

The music was nice.

For the victory screen, I felt there was absolutely no reason I would ever want to replay a level immediately after finishing it.

You might want to rotate the screenshots in this post so that the UI is right-side-up.

Thanks for playing my game, Noyb. And also thanks for the feedback. After reading your comments I have decided to add 2 more levels to the lite version for people to play. I had to use different music for these 3 levels than in the full version to keep the file size down in the lite version. I have also changed the color of the level select menu to make it more readable.

I'm still thinking about a more intuitive tutorial in the first level. If enough people do like the game i will probably be adding more levels to the 20 levels I have in the full version, and if I do that I will probably pull some more levels into the lite version as well.

Thanks alot,
Chris Johnson
