Hey everyone, I’ve been waiting for this day to finally show the world what we at Moon Studios have been up to! Over the past four months, we put together a small independent games studio and immediately started working on our first project: WARSOUP. WARSOUP is a Realtime Strategy First Person Shooter - We’re combining the first person shooter genre with elements from classic strategy games. Think Halo meets Starcraft. We put together a first introduction video of an early development build. That shit is Unity? I've never seen Unity look so good.
Saw the trailer on IndieGames, I can't believe this is only after 4 months. It looks gorgeous. I don't usually get excited for FPS or RTS, but I'm excited about this.

Looks interesting! You've got some stiff competition, though. The first-person strategy genre is becoming significantly more crowded, especially on the PC. You've got games like Natural Selection 2 and Section 8 Prejudice to compete with after all. Still, I love these kind of games, so I really hope you guys get the support to put this out!
Also, holy shit, I could NOT tell this was done in Unity.

Really glad you guys like it - we're always a little afraid about posting in independent forums and stuff like that, because WARSOUP is a RTSFPS, it's 3d, it's being done by people who've worked in the industry for a long time, etc... but we're definitely as 'indie' as you could be and we always appreciate the feedback from you guys.
I'm a HUGE believer that the 'independent' movement that's going on in the games industry right now will result in us playing better games. WARSOUP is clearly a mechanics-based game, but we hope we're adding our part in that regard.
