Yeah, pretty much but I was so completely intrigued that this is actually a real game I couldn't help myself. The sad part is I would actually play a game like that to learn Japanese :D

Typing of the Dead came out an age ago on the Dreamcast, I'm pretty sure the PC port is considered abandonware now and should be floating around.

Also, I'm disappointed in the lack of kick-awesome backpacks.

I love the way they include some non-typing sections, such as beating zombies with a giant red hammer. Hell, I love all of it. Though I shudder to think what kind of 'sutori' would be found in the 'sutori modo'.
