Description:
Sacred Line is an adventure game/horror in a fully developed universe where your main enemy is a union of third-world countries which is trying to set absolute totalitarian regime over the whole planet polluting and destroying everything around them. In this game you won't face them, dealing mostly with mutated humans and paranormal activity in the place where it all started.
The gameplay is about exploring, interacting and running from your enemies in a manner of old silent movies (there will be some sounds, but minimum). No-borders plot and strong black-white-red visual style plus oil-stylized comix cut-scenes. Red State, Nosferatu (1913) and Sin City meets Max Payne 1 and F.E.A.R. and cuts out all its shooting. This is not another generic horror with zombies, slender, haunted houses and one of your tasks in the game will be elimination of most part of humanity. One-man project.
You are playing Ellen, a private detective, who is trying to survive in Eastern Europe. Lately her business becomes almost non-existent and one day before she was going to close her office she got an anonymous call. The unknown asked her to find some hidden forest outpost and told her about its position. It seemed to be a usual prank or a psychopath but except the whole request something else was very strange about it and caller's female voice was very familiar. In the morning Ellen drove to search but only after sunset she finally found a cabin in the woods near the closed but still well-guarded military base. That was just the beginning.
/// BWRSM means black-white-red silent movie.
