This sounds awesome, but I have only a place to stay in Bristol or Bournemouth. Maybe I could sleep in my car. Shocked haha

It's like £16.50 per night in the hostel, and you don't even need to pay for bus/train to reach the venue from there.

Going to try to get the tickets sorted out over the weekend.

One of my housemates is from Haverhill which is near Cambridge apparently, I wonder if he could hit me up at his parents' place, haha.

I didn't think I was so loved; perhaps you stumbled upon my stunningly good looks in a picture thread somewhere. Wink

We'll still have to see whether I can attend I'm afraid. Being a student means I don't have all the money in the world. (... Beer!)

Haverhill is about 20 miles from here, google says it's a 40 minute drive.

Also Ashley, I should probably warn you that the bistro expects us to buy food and drink on the premises. It was part of the agreement so that we could host this event for free.

Hey, there's a date!  And a place!  I am goingggg!  Well, I still have to buy tickets and such, but I'll be there for sure.  Now I have to find out how do I get to Cambridge and where do I sleep those days.  But count me in.

:D It's in Cambridge. I just bought tickets for London, but luckily enough they were only 20 EUR.

If it's by plane, and you're going to stansted, you can just use that ticket anyway Tongue

@Hayden Scott-Baron - Some kind of definitive statement on distribution of places at the event would be useful if people are starting to book flights, leave and so on. You mentioned tickets earlier. Are the 24 people listed in the first post automatically in? If not, how's it going to work?

No, that list is pretty old.  Sorry for the delay with this!

It'll probably be on a first come first served basis. I'll commit to putting up the tickets on Monday evening, 8pm GMT.  I expect to make about 35 tickets available.

I suggest you start another thread with all the vital information (location, time, link to tickets) in the first post to avoid any confusion.

http://tigjamuk2.eventbrite.com/

Tickets are now available!!

They're £5.00 each, including the fee. I'll be using that for some goodies that people will receive at the event.
