Hey everyone! Sebastian here, from a little Chicago based start up called Haptix Games.

We've been chipping away at our first game, H2FLOW, a cool little water based physics puzzle game for pc / mac / ios / android / potato.  We took our inspiration from the "Worms" series by Team 17 and "Where's My Water" by Disney ... and took our own approach to it.

You can check out some info at our www.indiedb.com/games/h2flow page or even some videos on Youtube, www.youtube.com/haptixgames

Our main site is getting an overhaul at the moment.

We don't post a lot of the internet so we have very little exposure.  If you could please take a few minutes out of your day and check out our game and give some feedback or first impressions it would mean a lot to me.  When you stare at the same project for over a year it is hard to be objective!

So I guess I'll get he ball rolling.  An evil corporation trying to make a lot of money on bottled water has cut off the natural supply of water!  They have set up various enemies and traps protecting their investment!

We've got 6 enemy types that are in the game at the moment to help prevent the player from collecting his water.

Landmines: will start counting down to zero and then explode if you breach their area.

Buzz saws: either spin in place, patrol a path, or are attached to a rotating arm that makes traversing an area difficult.

Chaser mines: will follow you once you breach their personal space and then explode.  Useful for getting them to blow up a wall if you run out of throwable bombs.

Electric shock mine: is a cousin of the chaser mine, it emits a shock for a various duration and will shock the player from going through an area.

Spinning laser: will burn through the player as it spins patrol an area.

Missle launcher: will lock on and shoot a missle in your direction! This isn't always a bad thing, especially if you are out of bombs!

3/14/13

Took an extra month to rework our character art, sprite system, and sound effects.  This gives us the ability to change individual body parts, hats, and heads!  This should lead to some cool combos!  Replaced all the Worms sound effects with our own.

Initially we thought different hats would give different bonuses, but right now it is purely visual except for the one special mask!

Reworked our special ability system and now everything works well.  You can teleport, get a speed boost, as well as shoot a cannon anywhere on screen!  This makes designing levels more interesting.

Also soon to be releasing an alpha DEMO and launching a Kickstarter to raise some funds to finish this baby off.  More news to follow soon.

Time To Get Wet With H2FLOW

Chicago, USA.  March 19th 2013.  Haptix Games Inc today announced that it has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund 'H2FLOW', a water physics puzzler targeted for release on PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.

Quick thinking and timing is put to the test as players help guide the flow of water through intricate and challenging levels.  Use bombs to blast through terrain, barriers to redirect the flow, and divert water along new brick paths!

Danger lurks everywhere! Landmines, spinning buzz saws, and electric shock mines are just a handful of enemies trying to stop you from freeing the flow!  Survive long enough to collect all the drops and free the land from the tyrannical grasps of the Evil Water Bottling Corporation!

"It's like liquid Lemmings." - PC GAMER 'The Best PC Games of 2013'

"H2FLOW is a combination of all our favorite games old and new!  Challenging puzzles like Lemmings, destructible terrain like Worms, and lots of flowing water like Where's My Water," said Sebastian Procek, founder and CEO of Haptix Games Inc.

Navigate through themed levels and collect all the water by destroying terrain, blocking water paths, and creating new water paths using the tools in your tool belt: bombs, barriers, bricks, and other special abilities.  Purchase character upgrades to customize your character's look and behavior.  Evade and destroy enemies to beat the Evil Water Bottling Corporation at its own game!

"H2FLOW delivers the best gameplay mechanics from puzzle, action, and strategy games.  We have created a unique gaming experience that can be enjoyed by casual and hard core players alike," added Chris Misztur, co-founder and CTO of Haptix Games Inc.

The campaign went live today, with a minimum funding goal of $10,000.  The initial funding goal will ensure a timely release, while each additional stretch goal will help deliver 'H2FLOW' to a wider device selection and expand gameplay.

An exclusive 'H2FLOW' PC / MAC / LINUX demo awaits gamers at http://www.haptixgames.com/kickstarter/ to give you a sneak preview of the exciting gameplay!

FEATURES:
• Fun water physics
• Fully destructible terrain
• Addictive puzzle and action oriented gameplay
• Challenging puzzles with multiple solutions
