I was playing in windowed mode already, unfortunately.

Also, just to note, it looks stretched on widescreen monitors in the first fullscreen mode.
For me (in Wine), it lags on Fullscreen 2, 2x, and 3x, but doesn't lag at all on Fullscreen and 1x. The first fullscreen mode also looks stretched on my widescreen monitor.

Technically, it's not even really a LP, as there is no commentary(Desktop mics aren't good for the sort of thing) So it's pretty much just a walkthrough.

I can still post it if you want though.  Durr...?

For those who care, the "random pool" of how valuable the rupees are that appears depends on killing enemies and not getting hit, mostly. If you die it resets the random pool, and not getting hit (or getting hit very few times) during bosses or enemy rooms adds more points for red and blue rupees.

If you do real well towards the mid-point or later you'd get mostly red and some blue rupees out of everything, even the spewing chests (if you have full health).

Playing this game gives me ridiculous lag when lots of sprites are around. It might be Vista or low graphics ram. Anyone else have this issue?

Running on Vista and fullscreen(1) and not having a single problem.

Oh god, Nintendo should really just hire you. They can continue saturating their casual market while they have you taking care of the "hardcore" gamer market.

Seriously, if all future Legend of Zelda games would be like this I'd never need a 3D Zelda again. This was the biggest fun I had in a long time.

And aside from that, I have a feeling that this sort of gameplay would work really, really well in a 2D Metroid game.

Of course there's this MMF2 thing, but you can just ask Nintendo to hire a few other guys from the community to handle the programming for you :D

Also this made me really excited for Solar Plexus, looking forward to that.

Fffuck, I was on the last boss (second playthrough, bombchu, cuccoo) with ~1250 rupees and paused it to read this thread and went to start playing again and pressed esc to unpause and quit! Darn you, Spelunky for making me think esc was continue!

Oh well it doesn't really matter. Awesome game, awesome art, and I love link's expressions! I'd love it if this were a fuller game but I don't think that's happening so it's great for what it is.  AddictedHand Thumbs Up Right

I don't think I ever needed a 3D Zelda in the first place.

I don't honestly care as much about Zelda, though. It's the paintywaists that thought Metroid should be 3D that I want hamstringed.

I fixed a few bugs in the game, and I hope one of them is this weird one which gets you stuck by a certain water surface...
