So apparently he's teamed up with the musician I Am Robot And Proud, and he's looking to hire a full-time programmer with experience on the PS3.

From reading his cryptic twitter posts over the past few months, I think it's a platformer with music heavily integrated.  Which is infinitely epic, especially once you hear the musical style of I Am Robot And Proud.  Like this song:

mhh, but why do you think it's gonna be platformer? just because i really don't expect Jon Mak is doing a jump'n'run, that would really surprise me...

Read through his incredibly cryptic Twitter account about the game's development.  There are a lot of things there that tip me off about that.  The most recent being that he's said that he's gone back to scrolling instead of separate rooms.

Like I said, there are many things in that twitter account that would suggest a platformer.  That one was just the most recent, and felt like the icing on the cake of all the others.  He's mentioned physics, and said "added another jump ability" at one point.  So until proven otherwise, it's a platformer.  And if you argue Paul, then you're totally just arguing for the sake of it.

Hahahaha, and skimming the posts again now, I'm 99% sure that the "SH" Jon refers to regularly is "Shaw-Han Liem"...also known as "I Am Robot and Proud."  Mystery Solved!

I'm not sure where you're seeing an "argument" -- my point was just that from what I read it isn't necessarily a platformer. I'd be disappointed if it were, so I still have hope that it isn't. I'm also disappointed that you see anything which disagrees with you as an argument. People can disagree without trying to convince you of something.
