Hi there,

I know quite a few developers are on these forums so I was wondering if any one could help me with this.

I'm Pete Leonard and I have been a games recruiter for the past 8 years. I work for a company called Amiqus in the UK that is one of Europe’s leading game recruiter firms. We have been DEVELOP winners in 2010 and 2011 and have been finalists every year since 2004.

I am representing and working closely with Eidos Montreal with who are looking to expand their team 'Arsenal' – this is their core technology division that develops all of the tech that powers Deus Ex: HR and the upcoming Thief 4, plus 3 further titles (including a collaboration with a Japanese Square/Enix studio).

They are looking for a Senior QA, Test and Build programming specialist to join the company and work closely with the Director of Technology to design and implement cutting edge test strategies and build a test suite to be used by all 5 game teams in this AAA studio. Other parts of the role include automation and full results analysis.

Their last title is a game of the year contender, Thief is highly anticipated and the plans are to double the size of the studio in the next four years.

They are struggling to find the right person with enough of a suitable background in this field. There are a number of people that have been interested but they haven’t worked on large scale automated test cases and setups, or have lacked the necessary C++ , Java or Python skills.

Salaries and packages are extremely competitive with good bonus, relocation and in some cases, stock options, and more.

If anyone here is interested then you can reach me on [email protected] or 0044 1925 839 725 and I can tell you all about it.

I am also more than happy to provide an appropriate introduction to you guys on the forums about me and the company I work for if this is part of the rules (I read through and couldn’t see anything).

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Pete.
