Hey all!

It's been pretty secret with Miner Meltdown up until this point, but starting a dev-log here to be a bit more public!

Miner Meltdown is a 2D team-based online competitive multiplayer game. Players must scour the map for minerals, upgrade their gear, and attempt to blow up the opposing team all the while avoiding monsters, traps, and environmental pitfalls along the way. Maps are randomly generated and 100% destructible, so every match is a fully unique, fast-paced, and chaotic affair.

Features:

– 4 vs 4 online multiplayer
– Randomly generated and 100% destructible terrain
– Over 20 weapons and gadgets to choose from
– Fast-paced gameplay using ropes, jetpacks, and grapples to move around the map with ease.
– Funky soundtrack from Bob Baffy (#IDARB, Hexic, Sharknado)
– Tons of thrust-dancing

Miner Meltdown was greenlit last October.

Miner Meltdown features a giant pile of character skins...but WE NEED MORE!

Early in development I opened up some character skin ideas to social media and received some sweet ideas, so I'm doing it again. If you want to see a certain type of miner in the game, let me know. (I currently have an "upside-down miner" with a butt as a face, so realism isn't required by any means.) Miner puns are however always welcome and appreciated
