Yes, beating the final boss doesn't give you any credits yet, I haven't put that in.
You can? I'll see what's causing that, then, and fix it.
Of course. beating ANY bonus stage will add an extra hit to your maximum health. That's one of the main reasons to seek out bonus stages.

By fix it you mean constantly saves your state or removing the ability to save your state after the first time? Because I just beaten the same level 1 boss 2 times in a row and the second try gave me a save. In other news drill and dig to borrow under walls was a neat. |

Ha, well I'm glad you're sticking with it. I don't want to spoil things for myself by reading too much of the thread, but I played around with it a bit back when you were on the first or second page of the thread and it seemed fun then. Can't wait to see the final product! Keep it up!

I am so sorry for my long absence from this thread. I've been working on Jack, of course, but since I want to keep the bonus stages a surprise, I can't really show my progress in them. As I already assumed beforehand, the bonus stages are going to be the most time-consuming part of making this game, as many of the bonus stages are practically entirely new games that I have to make from scratch, engine and all. I hope I'm making it very clear that I'm pouring my heart and soul into making this game memorable. Here, have something I just made for the game:  Don't get too excited, it's not a big part of the game. just something to put more style in. |

You're right, it was supposed to be inspired by him and Golden Silver from Gunstar Heroes and Guardian Heroes. I realized how much it actually looked like Victor after I finally made the sprite, so I changed his vest to blue. Think it'll be ok?

I really am torn on what to do here. People have suggested to keep the bonus stages a secret, and I agree. But that's what I'm working on. What should I put here, then, to show that I am still active? I guess I could put up more tracks I've made. It's nice to see new art and assets, but keep the mechanics of finding bonus stages a secret as well tiles that may give away the layout.
Music is good too. Either way, whatever you choose to put up will be appreciated, I'm sure
