my bet is that its spin-off mobile game where you get cards with underage girls but it may be sight of souls games hitting that point when theres anime, vita spinoff and in two years people gonna be "no more souls games"

welp kadokawa owns fromsoft now. see what they did with suda51's games. there was that neogaf post about this interview with him a short while back. basically all the dumb fanservice shit in later grasshopper games, including the gigolo minigame in killer is dead and lollipop chainsaw's entire character design and story, were done at kadokawa's request.
maybe dks3 will be the last good from game, who knows. regardless of what happens, i will always treasure the actually good gams in the souls series tho. they're pretty damn close to my favorite games of all time.
also i think bamco might just be a shit publisher compared to sony as far as treatment of devs goes. both dks1 and 2 (tho 2 much moreso) have elements in them that feel rushed and the dlc release schedule for dks2 was a joke. by contrast, the sony published demon's souls and bloodborne feel more "complete". ymmv because dks1 is still the best despite this and shuhei yoshida called demon's souls "crap" and refused to publish it outside of asia, but ehhhh

I'll 1up you by going on for six paragraphs about how it's laughable to use the hobbit or lord of the rings as an example of great literature because

Kind of a weird question. Anyone know a good website to exercise and learn math at a college/university level? I don't have time - or the inclination for the expense - to go back to uni and I want to learn some more.

Not a bad site and maybe somewhere to start as a refresher, but looking for stuff more advanced. Edit: I suppose diving into their physics curricula would be a way of getting something new, for me.

I have no idea why this is getting into my mind but uh
I wonder if you could explain the literally -> figuratively shift in terms of markedness, like
1. The figurative phrase is the unmarked one. People /rarely/ use something that, given context, would genuinely be ambiguous as to whether it was literal or figurative in meaning.
2. By that same token, you'd never need to use either figuratively or literally, in their original meanings, to disambiguate.
3. The "doubly figurative" phrases I was talking about earlier ARE ambiguous and marked because of it, and need some additional disambiguating word.
4. Using "figuratively" here wouldn't make sense since the state of being figurative isn't in question. It's the /extent/ of how figurative/abstract the phrase is.
5. So basically you can't use "literally" to mean "figuratively" since it's putting a limit on the /degree/ to which something is figurative, not necessarily saying it's not figurative at all in those contexts. Ergo dictionaries that do this are dumb.
6. I want to come up with a sentence where you WOULD use "figuratively" so I could replace it with "literally" and see if it still worked, but I can't think of anything outside of "figuratively speaking."

it bothers me that the text of the double-decimal numbers doesn't align with the single-decimal ones.
